Starting Point Challenge

Eindelijk weer gescrapt. Zo'n eerste schoolweek hakt er altijd lekker in.
Daarnaast ben ik heel hard aan het werk in mijn huis. Heerlijk, ik voel de kilo's eraf vliegen! ;0)

Finally got some scrapping done. The first schoolweek is always very exhausting.
Besides that, I'm also hard at work in my house. Love it, I can feel the pounds flying off! ;0)

Shimelle heeft sinds 2 weken een nieuwe challenge op haar blog. Zij maakt een LO, maakt er een foto van voor ze er embellishments, foto's e.d. toevoegt en daagt ons dan uit om dit begin te gebruiken om onze eigen LO te maken.

Since 2 weeks Shimelle has a new challenge on her blog. She creates an LO and she's takes a photo before she adds embellishments, photos and such and then challenges us to use this as a starting point for our own LO.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp 2nd anniversary

Today marks the 2nd birthday of Sunday Sketch & Stamp. Can't believe that 2 years have gone by already!


Birthdays come with surprises and we even have 2!
From this week on the challenges will go weekly and to ensure you get some fab samples, there are a few new DT-members.


This challenge will be my last as a DT-member. I hardly make cards anymore and I feel it's time to give my spot to someone else.

Black Swan

Afgelopen zondag ben ik met Zus naar de voorpremière van de film 'Black Swan' geweest.
We vonden hem allebei heel indrukwekkend. Zus wilde van de week meteen weer gaan!


Voor de film kon je ontbijten in de Brasserie van het Chasse Theater. maar we waren helaas te laat met boeken.
Deze maand gaan we dit wel doen: ontbijten om 10 uur en dan om 11 uur naar 'The Kings Speech'.
~
Last sunday Sis and I went to the pre-première of the film 'Black Swan'.
Weboth thought it was very impressive. Sis said she wanted to go again this week!


Before the film you were able to eat breakfast in the theater (it's a film-theater, but also a theater for plays, ballets, etc.), but we were to late to book this.
This month we will do it: have breakfast at 10 a.m. and then go to the film 'The Kings Speech' at 11 a.m.

dresscode: white & Jesus Christ Superstar sing-a-long

Twee LOs over dezelfde avond: een van voor en een van tijdens de meezing-versie van Jesus Christ Superstar in de Mezz, Breda.
Ik ben nu twee keer geweest en ik hoop dat ze het dit jaar weer gaan doen.
Het is zo heerlijk om mee te zingen met al die geweldige liedjes uit deze musical.

Two LOs about the same night: one before and one during the sing-a-long of Jesus Christ Superstar.
I've gone there twice and I truly hope they will do it again this year.
It's great to sing along with all those great songs from the musical.

Fes - a walk in the PARK

Eindelijk weer tijd om te scrappen. Van de week ben ik wel een paar avonden thuis geweest, maar ik was te moe om ook maar wat te doen (behalve een uurtje spinnen maandag); ach, nog een weekje en dan heb ik heerlijk twee weken vakantie!

Finally found some time to scrapbook again. I was home a few nights this week, but I was to tired to do anything (except go spinning for an hour on monday); well, just one more weeks and then I'll have two weeks of vacation!

Falling leaves

Ik vind dit papier zo geweldig passen bij een herfstafbeelding, je hebt alles: het geel/oranje en rood van de bladeren, het grijs van de lucht en het zwart van de spinnen en hun webben.

I think this paper is so great for a fall-image, it has everything: yellow/orange and red for the leaves, grey of the sky and black for the spiders and their webs.

Sassy Devil

Mijn laatste Halloweenkaartje voor dit jaar. Nog steeds geen idee naar wie ik ze ga sturen! ;0)
De schets voor dit kaartje komt van Friday Sketchers van een paar weken gelden. Te laat voor de challenge, maar ik vind 'm nog steeds leuk!


De glitters op al het zwart is geen idee van mezelf, ik zag het gisteren op het blog van mijn medeDT-lid bij SS&S Mandy.
Ik vond het zo gaaf op haar foto en in het echt is het nog vele malen mooier!
